About this conference

NPE is the triennial plastics industry mega-show produced by the Plastics Industry Association, connecting 51,000+ professionals with 2,200+ exhibitors. Because it runs only once every three years, it works as the release window for machinery: injection moulding presses, extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment are shown running in production on the floor rather than as static displays, and buyers plan capital purchases around the cycle. NPE2027 spans the entire Orange County Convention Center with technology zones for bottles, materials, moldmaking, manufacturing services, and recycling and sustainability. It is a trade event, and the week is long enough that most attendees target specific halls rather than attempting all of it. The nearest equivalent elsewhere is K in Düsseldorf, the other triennial where major machinery launches land.
