About this conference

DrupalCon North America is the Drupal Association's flagship annual conference and the main in-person gathering of the Drupal open source CMS community. The audience is a mix of developers, digital agency staff and site owners in higher education, government and nonprofits — sectors where Drupal remains heavily used — alongside core contributors. Beyond conference sessions and paid training, contribution sprints run through the week and are what most distinguishes the event from a vendor conference; newcomers are usually mentored through their first contribution there. Dries Buytaert's project keynote sets the roadmap for the year. The 2027 edition moves to Orlando at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort, a resort-campus setting rather than a downtown convention centre, and early bird registration is scheduled to open September 14, 2026.
