About this conference

The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference is the main meeting for higher education IT, drawing CIOs, enterprise systems and infrastructure staff, teaching-and-learning technologists, institutional researchers, security officers and the vendors serving campuses. It is the largest annual gathering focused on technology in higher education, typically drawing several thousand attendees plus a large corporate exhibit hall. Sessions are largely presented by campus staff describing what they implemented and what it took, which makes the programme more candid than a vendor-run event. It runs in a hybrid format, and EDUCAUSE membership, held institutionally rather than individually, reduces the registration rate for staff at member campuses. The 2027 edition runs in Orlando, Florida, with a companion online conference for colleagues who cannot travel.
