About this conference

MEGACON Orlando is the largest fan convention in the southeastern United States, drawing roughly 150,000 attendees over four days for comics, sci-fi, anime, gaming and a deep celebrity guest lineup. The 2027 edition runs May 20-23 at the Orange County Convention Center. Run by FAN EXPO HQ, it is a guest-driven show: the headline appeal is autographs and photo ops with film and television casts, and those are sold as separate tickets on top of admission rather than included in the badge. Badges are open to the public, sold by day and as multi-day passes, with Saturday busiest and Sunday quieter and more family-oriented. The convention centre sits in the tourist corridor near the theme parks rather than downtown, so most attendees drive or rideshare and should budget for parking.
