About this conference

Comic-Con International is the largest and most prominent comic and pop-culture convention in North America, drawing roughly 135,000 attendees for studio, comics and gaming presentations in Hall H and across the exhibit floor. The 2027 edition runs July 22-25, with Preview Night on Wednesday, July 21. Getting in is the hard part. Badges are not sold first-come but allocated through an online lottery that requires a member ID registered well in advance, and Preview Night is limited to holders of the four-day badge that includes it. Hotels are distributed through a separate lottery of their own. Hall H panels involve overnight queueing and wristbands rather than same-day arrival. Much of the surrounding activity, including the studio activations across the Gaslamp Quarter, is free and open without a badge.
