About this conference

FinovateSpring is built around a rapid-fire seven-minute live demo format in which dozens of fintech companies show working product on stage, without slideware, to an audience of banks, credit unions, VCs and analysts. The event typically draws around 1,200-1,500 attendees, small enough that demoing companies actually get found. Attendees vote for Best of Show awards, and demo videos are published free afterwards, so the demos can be watched later — the reason to attend is the buyer audience in the room and the meetings arranged around it. The 2027 edition runs at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in San Diego, a resort-campus setting that keeps attendees together.
