About this conference

Data + AI Summit is Databricks' annual conference for data engineers, data scientists, analysts and AI practitioners, spread across Moscone North, West and South in San Francisco with a virtual attendance option. Recent editions have drawn roughly 20,000+ in-person attendees and tens of thousands more online, with hundreds of technical sessions covering lakehouse architecture, Apache Spark, MLflow and generative and agentic AI. Training and certification days sit before the main programme and are usually a separate paid add-on, so check what a pass actually includes before booking flights. Sessions run across three connected Moscone halls, which means walking time between tracks is real. Many talks are published free afterwards. If the stack is Snowflake rather than Databricks, the competing summit at the same venue weeks earlier is the better fit.
