About this conference

Red Hat Summit is Red Hat's annual open source conference, covering Linux, OpenShift, Ansible and enterprise AI through keynotes, breakout sessions, labs and a partner expo. Red Hat's official recap put attendance above 6,000 for the 2026 edition, which makes this a mid-sized vendor conference rather than a mega-show, and the practical consequence is that engineers can usually reach the people who actually maintain the products. The audience is enterprise: platform engineers, sysadmins, architects and the managers holding subscription budgets. Ansible automation content has been folded into the same programme in recent years. Hands-on labs are why many people attend and they fill first, so book them the moment scheduling opens; keynotes are typically streamed and posted free afterwards.
