About this conference

C2E2 is Chicago's largest pop-culture convention, drawing roughly 90,000 attendees for comics, film and television guests, anime, gaming and the C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay. The 2027 show moves later in the calendar to April 30 - May 2 in McCormick Place's South Building. Badges are sold to the public as single-day or full-weekend passes, Saturday is by some distance the busiest day, and autographs and photo ops with celebrity guests are ticketed on top of admission. The cosplay championships are the signature programme item and seating for the finals fills early. McCormick Place sits south of the Loop rather than in the centre of the city, so factor in the shuttle, transit or rideshare trip from most hotels when planning early panels.
