About this conference

TwitchCon is Twitch's annual convention and the main in-person gathering for the streaming community, bringing 35,000+ attendees to San Diego across streamers, content creators, viewers and gaming industry staff. The programme splits between creator education — monetisation, production, community moderation, brand partnerships — and fan-facing activity including meet-and-greats, tournaments, exhibitor booths and community events. Meet-and-greet access is usually ticketed separately and allocated ahead of the show, so attendees hoping to meet specific streamers need to plan rather than turn up. The creator track is genuinely practical rather than promotional, which makes it useful for anyone building a channel as a business. It is a consumer convention, not an industry trade show; platform and advertising dealmaking happens elsewhere.
