The National Restaurant Association Show is the largest annual foodservice and hospitality trade show in the Western Hemisphere, drawing roughly 55,000 attendees and 2,000+ exhibitors to McCormick Place each May. It is a trade event, credentialed to the industry rather than open to the public. Expo badges are $199 for operators, with an Expo + Education upgrade at $449, and NRA restaurant members receive complimentary expo badges — so association membership, more than early registration, is what changes the real cost. The floor spans several halls and covers equipment, food and beverage products, technology and supplies, with substantial tasting and demonstration space; plan the days around walking distance as much as session times. Independent operators and multi-unit chains both attend, and much of the value comes from supplier meetings arranged beforehand.
