About this conference

HD Expo is the leading North American trade event for hospitality interior design, drawing designers, architects, hoteliers, brand teams and purchasing professionals from all 50 states and 34 countries. For 2027 the format changes: May 3 becomes a dedicated pre-conference education day, including an expanded HD University, with the expo hall open only May 4-5. It is held at Mandalay Bay, which keeps the sessions, the floor and much of the attendee accommodation on one property. The floor is manufacturers of furniture, lighting, textiles, surfaces and bath fittings meeting the people who specify them, not a consumer showcase. The compressed two-day hall is the thing to plan around: with the same exhibitors in less time, working a target list beats browsing, and the continuing-education content is now concentrated on the opening day.
