About this conference
FABTECH is North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, typically drawing 35,000-45,000 attendees and 1,500+ exhibitors. It rotates among Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando and Atlanta, returning to McCormick Place in 2027. The show is jointly organised by several trade bodies — SME, FMA, AWS, PMA and CCAI — and that shows in the layout: welding, stamping, tube and pipe, and finishing each hold recognisable territory on the floor, with the AWS welding content effectively a show within the show. Entry is trade-only, and the exhibit pass is inexpensive while conference sessions, certification courses and workshops are ticketed separately and account for the upper end of the range. Machinery runs under power, so allow a full day per hall.
