About this conference

New York Comic Con is the largest pop culture convention on the East Coast, drawing 200,000+ attendees to the Javits Center across four days. Programming spans celebrity panels, exclusive screenings, comic exhibitions, anime, gaming, artist alley and cosplay, with studios and publishers using it to preview upcoming films, television and franchise projects. Artist alley is substantial and remains one of the better places to meet working comics creators directly. Tickets are sold by day and by fan verification lottery rather than open sale, and they go quickly — planning for NYCC realistically starts months ahead. Panel queues for the largest rooms form very early, so attendees generally choose a small number of must-see sessions rather than expecting to move freely between them. Run by ReedPop, which also produces PAX.
