About this conference

Black Hat USA combines multi-day hands-on Trainings, peer-reviewed Briefings, Arsenal open source tool demos, executive Summits and a large Business Hall, and regularly draws 20,000+ security professionals to Las Vegas under Informa's ownership. The 2027 programme spans six days, 31 July to 5 August, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Trainings are priced separately from the Briefings and are the expensive part of the week, though they are also the part that teaches a skill rather than describing one. The audience is broader and more corporate than the research reputation suggests: vendors, buyers and enterprise security teams fill the Business Hall. It runs straight into DEF CON at the other end of the strip, and most researchers stay for both, so book accommodation early and expect August rates.
