About this conference
The NALP Annual Education Conference serves legal career professionals on both sides of the hiring relationship: law firm recruiting and professional development staff, and law school career services and public interest advisers. It typically draws roughly 1,000-1,300 attendees across four days of programming. Sessions track the recruiting calendar, professional development and competency frameworks, retention, and the NALP standards and employment reporting that member schools and firms work to, which is the reason many people attend rather than the plenaries. Much of the value lies in role-specific meetings and in informal exchange between firms and schools that would otherwise rarely sit in the same room. NALP membership lowers the registration rate. The 2027 conference is at the Hyatt Regency Seattle.
