Epic's annual Users Group Meeting gathers roughly 20,000 healthcare executives, clinicians and IT staff at Epic's campus in Verona, Wisconsin, covering new EHR functionality, roadmap sessions and peer-led best-practice tracks; the Call for Presentations for 2027 opens in October 2026. Attendance is effectively closed: it is for staff of Epic customer organisations and invited guests, so vendors and press generally cannot buy their way in, which is why registration is free rather than priced. Sessions run in Epic's own themed buildings and underground auditorium, and the campus is elaborately decorated to an annual theme that staff commit to fully. Practical planning matters more than usual — Madison-area lodging is limited relative to the crowd, and customer organisations tend to fix their delegate lists well in advance.
