DESCRIPTION:SIGGRAPH is ACM's annual conference and exhibition on computer graphics and interactive techniques\, typically drawing 15\,000-20\,000 attendees from research\, film and VFX\, animation\, gaming\, AI and real-time graphics. The 2027 edition\, chaired by Kristy Pron\, moves to the Anaheim Convention Center and spans technical papers\, courses\, the Computer Animation Festival\, Emerging Technologies and a large industry exhibition. The location rotates between a handful of North American cities\, so the travel calculation changes year to year. Registration is heavily tiered\, from inexpensive exhibition-only access up to full conference passes\, and the cheaper tiers exclude the technical papers programme that researchers come for.
