DESCRIPTION:ProMat is the largest manufacturing and supply chain trade show in the United States\, featuring more than 1\,200 exhibits\, 200 educational sessions and three keynotes. The 2027 edition condenses from four days to three and typically draws 45\,000+ attendees\; attendee registration is free for qualified professionals\, which is unusual at this scale and makes a short visit easy to justify. MHI runs ProMat in odd years at McCormick Place and MODEX in Atlanta in even years\, so the two are one alternating cycle rather than competing shows. The floor is dominated by live equipment — conveyors\, automated storage and retrieval\, robotics\, AGVs and AMRs running under power rather than sitting as static displays.
