DESCRIPTION:PAX East is the East Coast edition of the Penny Arcade Expo\, a four-day consumer gaming festival covering video games\, tabletop and esports that regularly draws around 100\,000 attendees. The 2027 show returns to Boston's Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center April 22-25. It is a show for players rather than an industry event: badges are sold to the public by the day and for the full run\, and they routinely sell out ahead of the weekend. Beyond the publisher booths\, the tabletop area runs a lending library and open play space rather than a token corner\, and the indie sections are where most attendees find games they had not heard of.
